Looking Forward It looks like the holidays are quickly approaching once again. As the new year approaches we are looking for some new innovations for our line of products. The primary focus now is on the KwikPit kit and some ideas that will make it even more enjoyable. We've pretty well avoided any major price hikes and have tried to keep the shipping costs as low as possible. Shipping companies have increasingly escalated shipping costs over the last few years. A couple of years ago we lost DHL which only does international shipping at this point. They were very competitive and offered much lower shipping prices than present carriers. Oh well on with the show. |

KwikPit One of the things we did want to exhibit is the versatility of the KwikPit. This is a great inexpensive kit for those who can't afford a cockpit in the $600 to thousands of dollars range. The great thing about the kit is it is offered in a basic assembly that is very easy to assemble at home. The kit is relatively small making it a natural for a small apartment living or a small shared room. We recently were invited by GoFlight to do a fit out a KwikPit with GoFlight modules just to see what could be done with the basic kit. The photo below is what they came up with. It seems the KwikPit is a natural platform for many of the GoFlight modules.
The yoke is a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke. The CH Flight yoke works just as well. Add a singe or triple monitor set up and you're all set for some serious simming. Looks like the perfect Christmas gift to me. The KwikPit is the perfect way to start your dream cockpit setup. KwikPit M1 Prototype A sneak preview of a possible new KwikPit addition. This is a rough mockup of how it will look. It will support a 17" monitor and have outboard panels to support GoFlight or other custom switch panels.
The new instrument panel and other components will also be produced to retrofit the original KwikPit for and upgradable path for the original KwikPit owners. Several
of the modules have been fitted to the KwikPit to demonstrate
the versatility of the kit. Modules added here include the
GF-MCP Pro, GF-166 radio panel VRP, GF-46 multi-mode displays,
GF-LGT Landing Gear/Trim module, GF-RP-48, GF-T8-2, GF-TQ6
Throttle and mount and a Mini Rack for other modules as desired.
